Toxicity of Exposure to Multiple Chemicals in Bees and Modelling the Effect on Bee Population Dynamics Using DEB-TOX Models

Objective

The overall objective of the contract resulting from the present procurement procedure is to perform toxicological studies for single and multiple exposure to pesticides and contaminants on the following bee species/age groups: acute oral lethal toxicity tests to be carried out on adults and larvae of honey bees (Apis mellifera spp.) and adults of bumble bees (Bombus sp.) and solitary bees (Osmia sp.); chronic oral lethal and sub-lethal toxicity tests (28 days) to be carried out on adult honey bees (Apis mellifera spp.), bumble bees (Bombus sp.) and solitary bees (Osmia sp.).
