The overall goal of this proposal is to develop a unified mixed-model method for integrating functional annotations into genome-to-phenome analysisto reveal quantitative traits' genetic architectureand improve genomic predictions. The project will be addressing two main objectives, aimed at 1) improving ourmixed-model method andsoftware toolfor scalable genome partitioning of quantitative trait variationand 2) applying the method to dairy cattle data to investigate dairy traits'genetic architectureand train genomic prediction models with functional annotations.
