USDA Human Nutrition Information Service Records
The Human Nutrition Information Service Records consist of historical information on food and nutrition research in the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 1894 to 1976 and includes information on legislative authority, why research was conducted in agriculture, a chronology of organizational changes, and highlights of accomplishments. There are also food brochures and leaflets from the 1970s-1990s, correspondence, recipes, food guide information for 1956 , and articles and speeches, 1991.
